Hello and welcome to the November 2022 eToro Portfolio Update.
My eToro username is PassionForProfit.

My portfolio in November has gone down by 0.46%.
Currently, 14 people are copying my portfolio.
I am a Cadet Popular Investor.

The month of November closed with a decline of 0.46%.

The market in the month of November has been driven by 2 important events: the Fed monetary policy and the post-midterm election, which is historically a positive time for stocks.
My portfolio has not gained as much as it should because there are still some short positions that I have previously opened and I am aiming to close if the rally continues next month.

Jerome Powell, Federal Reserve chairman, has spoken yesterday about the monetary policy. He said that Fed is planning to slow down the interest rate hikes to 0.5% after a sequence of 0.75% hikes. This is exactly what the investors wanted to hear and reacted accordingly.
All the US major indices closed in profit. In particular, the S&P 500 has broken the 200-day moving average which was an important level of support so far. Traders are greedy at the moment and if the Fed in the next meeting on 14 December will slow down the hikes we can expect a positive month ahead.

The current asset allocation of my portfolio is:

  • 22.5% Stocks
  • 42.5% ETFs
  • 35% Cash

Last month I have closed one short position in profit.
The majority of my positions in stocks are long.
I have a few short positions on stocks, which I am planning to manage this month, based on the overall trend.
I have some cash in balance, which I will use to open new positions at the right time.
The risk score of my portfolio remains low at 4.

These are my recommendations for copiers and anyone who wants to invest in my portfolio:

  • Be patient and remain calm
  • Keep the copy open for long term
  • Invest at least 1000 USD
    If you have less than 1000 USD, you can start with a lower amount now and add more later.
    If you can, keep adding funds to the copy every month.

My 2022 goals are:

  • To close the month of December in profit
  • Keeping the risk score low
  • To become a Champion Popular Investor.

In Summary, last month my portfolio closed slightly negative.
The portfolio risk score has been reduced from level 5 to 4.
I am expecting December 2022 to be a positive month for my portfolio.
Now is a good time to start investing in my portfolio if you are new or you can add more funds to your copy if you are already a copier.
