Hello copiers, followers and etorians!
This is the monthly update on my investment portfolio:
- July 2024: +1.22%
- YTD: +28.37%
- 2023: +11.34%
- Last 12 months: +44.94%
- Risk score: 6 (medium)
- Currently, 25 people are copying my trades (+10 compared to last month)
In July, my portfolio closed the month with another positive performance.
It outperformed the main US big indexes such as the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq 100 which went down -0.04% Â and -1.02% respectively.
July has been a negative month for the US stock market, however, my portfolio performed really well during the latest market downturn.
The sell-off of the big caps has driven the market drop.
Asset Allocation and Strategy Update
The current asset allocation of my portfolio is:
- 32% Stocks
- 22% ETFs
- 11% Crypto
- 35% Cash
In July, I closed some positions in profit, in particular, Microstrategy, PayPal and Zoom.
I have added exposure to the small-caps sector because we are in the middle of a market rotation from big to small caps, so I am expecting profits from it and it’s also good to diversify.
New ETFs and crypto orders are set, so when the right time comes I will use my cash in balance.
August is historically a low-volume trading month because of the summer holidays, however I am not decreasing my current positions.
I will continue to monitor the financial markets daily and implement my strategies for the long term.
Recommendations
These are my recommendations for copiers and anyone who wants to invest in my portfolio:
- Invest more than 2,000 USD
- Keep the copy open for long-term
If you have less than 2,000 USD, you can start with a lower amount now and add more later.
Now is still a good time to start investing in my portfolio if you are new, or you can add more funds to your copy if you are already a copier.
Goals
My 2024 goals are:
- Outperform the S&P 500
- Keeping the risk score to medium
- To become a Champion Popular Investor
