Hello and welcome to April 2022 eToro Portfolio Update. My username is PassionForProfit.
My portfolio in April has gone down by 7%. Currently, 13 people are copying my portfolio. I am a Cadet Popular Investor.
The month of April closed in negative with a decline of 7%
The markets remain very volatile due to the current international situation and the Fed monetary policy decisions to reduce inflation.
The last 4 weeks have been negative for the Nasdaq and S&P with a registered loss of -24% and -15% respectively from the last all-time high.
The FED is expected today to hike rates by 50 basis points and just announced the tapering of the balance sheet starting in June.
If the FED stays in line with the expectations, we could see a rally to the 50 day moving average.
The investors’ sentiment is negative and markets are very oversold on multiple levels.
This is a contrarian bullish signal, so we could see a potential upward movement.
Also, corporate buybacks can help to push stock prices up in the short term.
These are the monthly and annual performances of my portfolio.
The Asset allocation of my portfolio is:
51% Stocks
35% ETFs
14% Cash
Based on my strategy, last month I closed in profit some stocks and hedge positions.
I have opened new positions in bonds, gold, silver and stocks.
By doing so the balance available has been reduced.
These are my recommendations for copiers and anyone who wants to invest in my portfolio:
– Be patient
– Keep the copy open for long term
– Invest at least 1000 USD
My 2022 goals are:
– To close the year in profit
– To reduce the risk score to 5
– To become a Champion Popular Investor
In Summary, April has been a negative month, I have increased the portfolio diversification and I remain bullish in the short term.
